    I found a solution to getting that hover effect for images. I got it working on the gallery using Eager from this site: https://eager.io. All you do is add a plugin to WordPress from them, and customize the images from the website of theirs with their dashboard. Sign up for free and customize the effects of images on our personal website.
    

    I wonder if that is what you guys are using. I just made the gallery move when hovering over the images. If that is not what your using, then maybe you can add some image effects to the theme.
    

    Just a suggestion. Anyways this works using this method. I though it was cool.
